 La noticia de mi embarazo fue una de las más felices de mi vida, porque siempre he soñado con ser mamá. Amo a los niños y desde el primer momento comencé a imaginar el futuro junto a mi bebé.

 Hoy enfrento uno de los retos más difíciles que me ha tocado vivir. No cuento con los recursos económicos para afrontar esta enfermedad. Mi familia vive en un pueblo muy pequeño cerca de Toluca, mi papá es albañil, mi mamá y yo trabajamos limpiando casas y mis hermanos acaban de entrar al ejército. Aún sin recursos mis papás consiguieron rentar un cuarto cerca del Hospital General en la Ciudad de México para poder acompañarme durante este proceso tan difícil.

 Los doctores dicen que la primera parte de mi tratamiento podría durar más de seis meses pero posterior a eso pueden ser hasta 4 años y aún hay muchos gastos por cubrir: los medicamentos que el hospital no tenga, estudios, traslados, alimentación y todo lo necesario para seguir luchando por mi salud y la de mi bebé.

 Los médicos han recomendando interrumpir el embarazo, hoy tengo 20 semanas y apesar de que es un riesgo que las quimioterapias afecten al bebé yo confío que Dios me ayudará para que pueda nacer y este conmigo a mi lado.
