Meet 14 year oldLiam. A happy cheerful young man.
Unfortunatley, Liam had an accident while being a good friend at the Park. He was helping a younger child half his age at the park. The younger boywas trying to reach the glider. It’s like a horizontal zip line. Liam jumped up and swatted it towards the kid. When he landed his feet sunk into the sand, and as a result fell forward. His hands missed the steel platform that the other boy was standing on, and smashed his upper jaw into that platform. As a result he has knocked out three teeth and shoved one up into the jawbone. Liam's parents took him to Emergency where he received stiches to close up the gash on his chin. Then they took him to the Dentist and were told the cost would be approximately $20,000 for the multiple cosmetic surgeries needed. To mom and dad's surprise, their health plans will cover about $1700.
