Southern Lehigh is going to the World Finals!!!

Odyssey of the Mind has provided kids (3rd-8th grade) with an amazing opportunity to stretch their thinking, work together in creative and innovative ways and to truly think "outside the box".   In this creative problem-solving program, team members work together for months to solve a predefined problem - utilizing all their skills, talents, and knowledge without any outside assistance from parents or coaches.  They present their “solution” at regional and state level competitions along with hundreds of other teams! 

This year, Southern Lehigh had 3 Teams (3rd-5th, 6th-8th graders) participate in the Odyssey of the Mind  competition.

3 Teams competed at Regionals at Bryn Athyn College on Feb 26th

2 Teams advanced to States at Lock Haven University on April 2nd

1 Team is heading to the WORLD Competition at Iowa State University from May 25-May 28!!! At this competition, teams compete not only with teams from all 50 states, but also from other countries such as Argentina, Australia, Canada, Greece, Singapore, Kazakhstan, United Kingdom, and more! 

We are so proud of these Odyssey students and are fundraising to help offset the cost of the World Competition. Additionally, we want to ensure SL Odyssey students can continue to participate and attend this amazing event in the future! 

Any amount is welcome and will help these students represent the Southern Lehigh, the Lehigh Valley, and Pennsylvania!!
