Southern Tier SCH

Our Mission Statement:

We will coordinate and help concentrate the efforts of similar organizations into focused assisted housing and supportive work program for ex felons and recovering addicts, while addressing the gaps between these groups where individuals fall through the cracks. We know current housing options for this underserved population are within neighborhoods which are high in crime and drug use. We will train the underserved population in a trade and hire them to work with a professional and caring professional work team who can support individuals as they develop work ethics that create an opportunity for positive change. They will refurbish foreclosed homes in quality neighborhoods that are in need of small repairs. These homes will be repaired and used as assisted living housing quarters for our SCH clients.

Southern Tier SCH, Second Chance Housing will provide assisted long term housing to ex felons and recovering Addicts in Broome County.
