Southampton Youth Academy Training - UK

Hello Family and Friends,

We are Gabriella and Veronica, but our friends call us Gabby and Vee! We are 11-year-old (12 in August) twin sisters that LOVE the game of soccer. We both play at the rep level for Aurora FC and we spend much of our free time on a pitch. This sport has brought so many great things to our lives, such as; Discipline, ambition, fitness/health, a competitive mind-set, belonging, patience, humility, confidence, the power of teamwork and most of all, long lasting and unbreakable friendships.

Both of us, along with 8 other talented soccer players from Canada, have been selected to train at the Southampton Youth Academy - one of the BEST youth training camps in the UK. Its a once-in-a-life-time experience entirely dedicated to soccer training in order to improve our skills. We will both experience what it will feel like when we move away from home to play soccer... we will be staying with other teammates (no parents), we will be responsible to get ourselves up in the morning for training and back to bed in the evening. At the end of the week, we will put our training to the test, as we will play local teams in a mini tournament.

Being invited to the Southampton Academy was a very special moment for us - its when we realized that anything is possible as long as you work hard for it.
