Dear Friends,
My local church, Fellowship Alliance Chapel, supports a global ministry called Fellowship Alliance Southern Africa, or FASA for short. This ministry’s vision is “To impact the youth of Southern Africa for Christ so they can change the future of their country.”
This past April, my family and I participated in a FASA mission trip. What an amazing experience!! We worked along side a team of young South African men and women (ages 14 - 27) to help run a kids camp (approx 125 kids). Our lives will never be the same again!!
After returning from this mission trip, my wife and I felt God was calling me back to Africa to work with the young adults at the 2nd Annual International Leadership Academy (ILA) in October 2017.
Speaking into the lives of young men has been a heavy calling on my heart in recent years. I believe our society is in desperate need of Godly men to take a stand and make a difference, both at home, in our communities and around the world. It starts with us... and it starts now!
FASA is partnering with local high school students who are chosen by their school administration/leaders to attend mentorship training. What a privilege to be used by God to pour His truth into these young adults. I am very excited about all God will do in us and through us as part of this trip!
I am writing to tell you about this trip for several reasons. Primarily, I would love for you to share in the adventure with me! There are several ways you can get involved to support the ministry and my team!
Prayerfully - Please pray for the health, safety, and effectiveness of our team and that the young adults we will be serving in South Africa will undoubtedly feel the love of Jesus and realize the hope of eternal salvation they have in Him and become leaders in their local communities.
Financially - I would be grateful for financial support towards my trip. The trip costs approximately $2500 per person.
