South Putnam Eagle Restoration Project

Donation protected
The South Putnam Advanced 3D Art Class is on a mission to restore the historic eagle that was once a part of our old gymnasium floor.  This past summer, the floor in the gymnasium was replaced, and the eagle was removed to be preserved.  As a class, we are in the process of transforming the eagle back into the wonderful representation of American and South Putnam pride it once held.

The refurbished eagle will be installed on the High School commons’ 9 by 16 foot wall by the concession stand.  One obstacle that our class has to overcome is raising money for such a large scale project.  From wood and materials to hiring an airbrush artist to touch up the eagle’s original paint color, our fundraising goal is $3000 by end of April 2019 for the project to be unveiled at graduation Saturday May 25th, 2019, where your donation will be recognized.

Thus, we would be honored if you could donate money towards restoring the eagle.  It would be meaningful to the faculty and students, both former and present. Contact the art teacher, Mrs. Cooper, at South Putnam High School for any further questions.  Thank you for your time and
consideration.
