Fundraising to Help Conservation in South Africa

Donation protected
Hi, I am James and I am a first year student currently studying Environmental, Economics and Ecology at the University of York. I am fundraising in order to access support to help fund my 3 week conservation trip to South Africa in summer 2025. It is really important to me that we do everything we can to conserve our planet for future generations and I am asking for your help to support me in doing my bit for conservation. All monetary support will go straight into conservation, as this is not a holiday but rather a scientific expedition where i will be helping academic researchers in the field.

The project is run through Operation Wallacea, whose main aim is to run large scale biodiversity surveys, in order to collect scientific data which leads to long term sustainable conservation of our planet. Here is a YouTube link (https://youtu.be/DPxcmdJmDxg) which helps illustrate the amazing work that they achieve every year.

All donations will help me to be able to support researchers with large mammal, bird and vegetation surveys within the conservation site of Gondwana. Funds will be used for; essential research equipment, transport, insurance and the expedition itself.
