<div>Je m'appelle Rosemarie et je suis passionnée par l'éducation régénératrice. Je travaille avec le <a href="https://cloudinstitute.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Cloud Institute for Sustainability Education</a>, une organisation à but non lucratif qui soutient le développement professionnel, le design de curriculum, l’enseignement et l’évaluation dans le cadre de l'éducation régénératrice (<em>Education for Sustainability</em>).

<div>Il y a quelques temps, j’ai eu la chance de rencontrer Musa, un jeune leader inspirant du camp de réfugiés de Nakivale, en Ouganda. Musa a fondé la <a href="https://www.nakujalifoundation.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Nakujali Foundation</a>, une organisation qui offre des opportunités éducatives pour renforcer la confiance, la santé mentale et physique, et le leadership des enfants et des femmes — notamment par la pratique du yoga. <a href="https://www.instagram.com/nakujali_foundation/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Ils ont un succès énorme</a> et ils sont vraiment inspirants !

<div>Musa et moi avons tout de suite eu envi de s'allier pour offrir un programme bénéfique à sa communauté. Notre processus de co-création a mené à la mise sur pieds d'une formation professionnelle axée sur la durabilité et la régénération.

<div>Cet automne, je me rendrai sur place pour offrir un atelier de formation à l’équipe de Nakujali Foundation et d'autres leaders du Nakivale Refugee Camp basé sur les principes et pratiques de l’éducation régénératrice ainsi que l’enseignement du programme <a href="https://global.oup.com/education/oxford-international-programme/resources/oi-sustainability/?view=Standard&amp;region=international" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oxford International Sustainability Course</a>.

<div>Le programme que j'irai leur partager a été co-développé avec le Cloud Institute for Sustainability Education. Il s’adresse aux enfants de 4 à 14 ans et a été conçu pour inspirer et sensibiliser à une vie durable sur la planète Terre. Il s'articule autour de 3 piliers de l'éducation régénératrice: vivre sur la planète Terre; prendre la responsabilité pour la différence que nous faisons; et faire le changement.

<div>My name is Rosemarie, and I am passionate about sustainability education. I work with the <a href="https://cloudinstitute.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Cloud Institute for Sustainability Education</a>, a non-profit organization that supports professional learning, curriculum development, instruction, and assessment of Education for Sustainability (EfS).

<div>A few months ago, I met Musa, an inspiring young leader from the Nakivale Refugee Settlement in Uganda. He is the founder of the <a href="https://www.nakujalifoundation.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Nakujali Foundation</a>, an organization that creates educational opportunities to foster confidence, mental and physical health, and leadership among children and women—especially through yoga. <a href="https://www.nakujalifoundation.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">They are very impactful</a> and inspiring!

<div>Musa and I immediately wanted to partner to offer a program that would benefit his community. Our co-creation process led to the development of a professional learning program focused on sustainability and regeneration.

<div>This fall, I will be traveling to the camp to deliver a workshop to the Nakujali Foundation team and other leaders and educators at the Nakivale Refugee Camp, based on the principles and practices of sustainability education and the <a href="https://global.oup.com/education/oxford-international-programme/resources/oi-sustainability/?view=Standard&amp;region=international" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oxford International Sustainability Course</a>

<div>The Oxford International Sustainability Course is a program co-developed with the Cloud Institute designed for children aged 4 to 14 that aims to inspire sustainable living while strengthening young people's connection to their local community and the natural world.
