<div>W.A.Y.S. Social Cooperative Onlus is a <strong>non-profit </strong>organization founded in 2005. Our goal is the work and social integration of adults with Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities through projects that offer services to the community.

<div>The W.A.Y.S. Cooperative aims to promote the placement of differently-abled individuals in the productive world and in our society. Through its projects, it confirms that professional achievement is a valuable tool to help differently-abled individuals become an active part of the community.

<div><strong>We have launched a new project: the opening of a pasta shop, Bottega UP. We have the right to purchase the shop within 12 months. OUR GOAL THEREFORE IS TO RAISE €150,000 BY NOVEMBER 2024</strong> to be able to purchase the premises and make our activity stable and continuous.

<div>Our projects aim to enhance the personal skills of our members by creating activities in which they can use their skills and feel like an essential part of the community. Training is the foundation of each of our projects and represents the element upon which to build the future of our members.

<div>Why is this project important?
</div>

<div>The goal is to address the problem of employment for people with intellectual disabilities by recognizing their potential and creating commercial activities that allow them to have permanent employment, receive a salary, have rights, but also obligations.
</div>
<div>This activity allows adults with intellectual disabilities to work alongside other non-challenged employees, promoting integration and personal fulfillment.

<div>What do we aim to achieve?

<div>We have established a craft laboratory for the production of egg pasta and a shop open five days a week, where W.A.Y.S. members work, coordinated by two professionals, who are also responsible for training.
</div>

</div>
<div>Our target is to introduce our products to a market of private customers and restaurants. Also activating a training center that involves training other differently abled people to work in the restaurant industry, and also schools, interested in learning the art of making pasta. Some of our members will also be involved in handmade pasta, a process that involves different processing times and great attention.

Attraverso i suoi progetti ogni giorno conferma un valore: la realizzazione professionale è uno strumento prezioso per aiutare i ragazzi diversamente abili a diventare una parte attiva nella comunità.

<div><strong>Abbiamo avviato un nuovo progetto: l'apertura di un pastificio, Bottega UP. Abbiamo il diritto di acquisto dell' attività entro 12 mesi. Il nostro obiettivo è quindi quello di raccogliere 150.000,00 euro entro novembre 2024</strong> per poter acquistare le mura del locale e rendere stabile e continuativa la nostra attività.

<div>I nostri progetti hanno lo scopo di potenziare le abilità personali dei singoli ragazzi creando attività nelle quali possono utilizzare le loro competenze e sentirsi un anello di un complesso e prezioso ingranaggio. La formazione è alla base di ogni nostro progetto e rappresenta l’elemento su cui costruire il futuro dei nostri ragazzi.

<div>Perchè questo progetto è importante?

<div>L’obiettivo è quello di affrontare il problema occupazionale delle persone con disabilità intellettiva riconoscendo le loro potenzialità e creando attività che consentano loro di avere un lavoro a tempo indeterminato, ricevendo uno stipendio, avendo dei diritti ma anche degli obblighi.

<div>Questa attività consentirà ad adulti con disabilità intellettiva di lavorare a contatto con altri dipendenti normodotati, favorendone l'integrazione e la realizzazione personale.

<div>Cosa ci proponiamo di realizzare?

<div>Ci si propone di realizzare un laboratorio artigianale di produzione di pasta all'uovo ed un negozio aperti sei giorni alla settimana, dove potranno alternarsi al lavoro i soci della W.A.Y.S., coordinati da due tecnici, responsabili anche della formazione.
</div>

<div>Il nostro target è di far conoscere la nostra produzione ad un mercato indirizzato a clienti privatie e ristoranti. Attivando un centro di formazione che coinvolga coloro che intendano formarsi per lavorare nel mondo della ristorazione, scuole, e quanti abbiano interesse nell’apprenderei processi di lavorazione della pasta. Parte dei nostri soci inoltre si occuperanno della pasta fatta a mano, processo che prevede tempi di lavorazione più morbidi e grande attenzione.
