For this summer, I have been accepted into two performance workshops: the So Percussion Summer Institute (SoSI) and Nief-Norf Summer Festival (nnSF). Both of these workshops are among the most sought after in the country and admittance is based on application and audition. These are amazing opprtunities for growth as a musician.

SoSI allows the opportunity to study with the internationally acclaimed quartet, So Percussion, with guest composers such as David Lang, and Steve Reich. The nnSF is an intensive 2-weeks focused on contemporary chamber music, with performers working closely with composers to premiere new works. Not to mention all of the musicians I will connect with at both places.

With both sessions offering so much, this comes at a price. The tuition, however, does cover everything: instruction, facilities, housing, food, etc. Any amount, small or large is greatly appreciated, and I will be sure to share videos of my performances and activities to see what I have learned!
