SOS Nepal - Happy Island -

SOS NEPAL is a non profit organization that is registered with the government in Italy and in Nepal in association with Friends of Nepal.

Our main goal is to provide safe housing, medical care, and an education to nine orphaned or disadvantaged children.

Our monthly expenses are €200 for children
Food
Education (tuition and supplies)
Stationery items
Clothes
Healthcare
Housing
Cook, tutor, housekeeper
Custodial expenses
Entertainment

As as you can see money goes a long ways in Nepal but it is difficult to maintain the children's wellbeing on a continuous basis.


The project is "Happy Island"

For now the children are welcomed in a structure that also houses a women's hostel but it is our will to buy an independent structure to be able to host other children.
The goal is to arrive at the end of 2021 with 20 children hosted.

We are evaluating some facilities in Kathmandu and have started negotiations with the owners.
The ideal solution would be a 3-storey building with an adjoining garden for outdoor activities.

Come puoi vedere, il denaro fa molto in Nepal, ma è difficile mantenere il benessere dei bambini su base continua.

Per ora i bambini sono accolti in una struttura che ospita anche un ostello per donne, ma è nostra volontà acquistare una struttura indipendente per poter ospitare altri bambini.
L'obiettivo è arrivare alla fine del 2021 con 20 bambini ospitati.
                                
Stiamo valutando alcune strutture a Kathmandu e abbiamo avviato trattative con i proprietari.
La soluzione ideale sarebbe un edificio di 3 piani con un giardino adiacente per attività all'aperto.
