J’avais déjà personnellement financé la majeure partie des soins (environ <strong>70 000</strong> <strong>€</strong> via mes économies et un crédit). <div><strong>Malheureusement, après une période de rémission, Haithem a récemment fait une récidive.</strong> Les fonds collectés ont été entièrement utilisés. Il doit aujourd’hui suivre de nouveaux traitements lourds à l’Hôpital Jules-Gonin à Lausanne.

<div>    Je m'appelle Mohamed, et je suis l’oncle de <strong>Haithem</strong>, un petit garçon de <strong>3 ans</strong> au sourire radieux et à l’énergie débordante, originaire d’Algérie où il vit avec ses parents.

<div>Mais derrière cette insouciance d’enfant, Haithem mène un <strong>combat terrible</strong> : il est atteint d’un <strong>rétinoblastome</strong>, un c<strong>ancer rare et agressif de l’œil</strong>.

<div>Depuis le mois d’août 2024, Haithem suit des <strong>traitements lourds et complexes</strong> à l’Hôpital Ophtalmique Jules-Gonin de Lausanne, en Suisse — un centre <strong>ultra-spécialisé reconnu mondialement</strong> pour cette pathologie.

<div>Il a déjà reçu 7 <strong>chimiothérapies</strong>, plusieurs séances de <strong>laser</strong> et de <strong>cryothérapie</strong>.

<div>Last year, we launched this fundraiser needing <strong>€43,000</strong>. <div>    My name is <strong>Mohamed</strong>, and I’m the uncle of <strong>Haithem</strong>, a <strong>3-year-old</strong> boy with a radiant smile and endless energy. He lives in Algeria with his parents.

<div>But behind his childlike innocence, <strong>Haithem</strong> is fighting a <strong>terrible battle</strong>: he has been diagnosed with <strong>retinoblastoma</strong>, a <strong>rare and aggressive eye cancer</strong>.
