<div>Queridos amigos, familiares y comunidad solidaria: Mi nombre es María Gamón y, con mucha humildad, quiero compartir la difícil situación por la que está pasando actualmente mi hermana Lydia, víctima de la reciente DANA que ha arrasado con más de 70 municipios de la Comunidad Valenciana. Las fuertes inundaciones afectaron gravemente su casa (la planta baja de un edificio del barrio Orba de Alfafar), haciendo que perdiera todas sus pertenencias y dejando daños en la vivienda que no puede asumir económicamente. Además, por si eso fuese poco, también ha perdido su coche (único medio de movilidad que tenía, dadas sus patologías, para desplazarse a sus múltiples citas médicas en el hospital).

<div>Mi hermana es una persona que padece varias enfermedades crónicas (Encefalomielitis Miálgica, Disautonomía, Fibromialgia y Covid Persistente), lo que la incapacita para trabajar y, por consiguiente, a tener ingresos económicos.

<div>Es por ello que desde mi máxima humildad, pido una ayuda para poder levantar ese hogar que el agua destruyó y dejó inhabitable, llevándose todo a su paso, desde muebles y electrodomésticos, pertenencias personales (incluyendo su andador y su silla de ruedas), hasta puertas y paredes, ya que ahora se requieren reparaciones urgentes para poder habitar de forma segura esa vivienda y, desafortunadamente, los costes de las reparaciones superan ampliamente nuestros recursos económicos actuales y, debido a la magnitud de los daños, el seguro no cubrirá una parte significativa de los gastos.
