Soprano Saxophone Fund

I have created this as a way of supporting me as a young musician and growing artist.

Right now, I am saving to buy a Soprano Saxophone. Awards for Young Musicians have been extremely generous in pledging £1000 towards it, and I also have a small amount of money saved from gigs I have done. However, professional models range from around £2000 upwards and this is far more expensive than what is in the bank.

Money is tight in my family, and music lessons are expensive, so I’m working for this one myself.

I would love my own soprano as I want to delve deeper into exploring its beautiful sound in jazz as well as further my classical reportoire. This year, I have been playing on the school horn, which is very old and well used! I’m sure you can imagine how frustrating it is trying to learn on a poor instrument. Also, I will not have access to this instrument anymore after a few months. This is why I’d love my own to really look after and improve with.
