Our little Sophie was born 3 weeks early on the 17th December 2018 at 8.19pm. She had a big battle ahead of her as her organs didn't want to work properly. Sophie lost her fight on 19th December 2018 at 1.50pm so just over 40 hours old. We don't know yet why she lost her fight and we would like to raise awareness on as soon as u feel that ur babies movements aren't the same as they were to get it checked asap. Because I had the feeling of movement wasn't right so I rung the hospital asap and was called to be checked, if I hadn't have done that we may not have been able to have our baby with us for that 40 hours. We are feeling really hurt at the moment like anyone that has been through this knows.
Please help fund for work that the neonatal staff do and for the sack of getting more checks through any pregnancy as it could happen to anyone. I never thought this would happen to us but it has and we already had 3 healthy babies. All the money raised will be split between The Oliver Fisher special care baby trust and to further checks in pregnancies.

Update February 2019
We have the cause of death, it was parvoviris b19 it's not checked for in pregnancies unless there are any signs that the mother has it. It can be checked in blood tests and it only affects 1-5% pregnant ladies and the survival rate for an unborn baby is very low. It it happens at the start of the pregnancy it can lead to miscarriage and if it accurs in the later stages of pregnancy there is a 10% chance that the baby will survive that is all.
Please help us get to this top amount as we need to have these checks and that in pregnancies no matter if you have never had any complications.
