Hello, my name is Sophia. I'm 14 years old and in 8th grade. I'm in orchestra and play the viola. The past two years, I've played the violin. Being in orchestra has had a big influence on future career opportunities, and I have been presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend a trip to Boston, MA, and perform.

This trip was a hard decision for my parents financially. Initially, it was turned down, but recently, my orchestra teacher reached out to my parents to seek my attendance. My parents were proud, and it gave us all the extra motivation to reach out and ask for help. Please help me in reaching my goal of $2,200. I would really appreciate it. This trip would not only offer me an amazing experience and friendship bonding but also the awareness of career opportunities in orchestra and the knowledge of what life could be if this is the path I choose to take.
