Sophia was injured in a car accident on Bailey Cove Road on 17 June 2017. Another car pulled out in front of the Sharp Family and all four were injured.
Terry (our church pastor) is still suffering from numbness in his fingers and torn ligaments.
Laura, his wife, suffered from a broken sturnum and has not been home as of yet. She is staying with Sophia in the hospital.
Victoria, Sophia's sister, has bruised ribs and sore muscles.
Sophia spent 8 days at Huntsville Hospital ICU before being transferred to UAB Children's Center. She has a crushed liver and kidney. She also has a cracked bone in her back, bruised ribs, cracked sternum, and lacerations to her gall blader and other kidney.
Funding is for the family to travel from their home in Arab to UAB, Birmingham. Terry has also been off work since the accident due to his injuries.
