Hey Everyone! Yes, we are STILL here, despite covid doing all it can to shut down the live theatre! My name is Paul Romanello and I am the Artistic Director of this Little Engine that Could...
reaching out, once again, to all of our incredible families, patrons, community members and theatre lovers everywhere.
(Oliver Tam as Roger, 2021 BroadwayWorld Award winner, Best Performer in a Musical and the Company of RENT!)
This marks our third year in our incredible home, The 530 Studios in Pelham, NY, bringing theatre education and live, professional performances and programs to all of lower Westchester, NYC and beyond! You may remember our OPENING NIGHT GALA event in the Fall of 2019. Sadly, while it is meant to be an annual event, covid has prohibited us from gathering 60 + people in a room, sitting shoulder to shoulder for cabaret and dinner. Nevertheless, we hope to bring this fantastic event back to you in the Fall of 2022. First, however, we still need to appeal (at least once a year!) to your very generous natures and ask, once again, for your support.
So many of you have given to our cause throughout the last few years, and we are both humbled and grateful, but I don't have to tell you how harsh covid has been to the small business model - mainly where the arts are concerned! So please share this with everyone you know and help us continue bringing the programming and entertainment that you have come to expect and that we take pride in! Some marvelous things are baked into our new season - new plays, student mainstages, holiday concerts, Playwriting Festivals, guest Directors - the works! I hope to see you there!
