A baby for Justin and Brittney

Hi, my name is Brittney. I have been working with children for the past 7 years. Working with children isn't just a job but it is a passion. I am a sister to 6,I am a friend to many, I am a daughter and most importantly I am a wife. I have one more role to fill but yet it stills remains empty.....A Mom....I never thought in a million years that I at age 23 would have to seek help from a Fertility Specialist. All for things I could not prevent. For 3 years I tried to conceive. The first year you just stop preventing. the second year I found out I had P.C.O.S. And finally the third year I find out that my tubes are blocked. Rewind my life 16years back<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< I'm in elementary school, my mom finds out I need surgery asap. I have the surgery to remove a hernia that has to be repaired. The surgery goes well. Now fast forward back to Nov 2012 I receive a phone call from my doctor telling me that I will never have a child naturally. She then begins to give me options... but none the less say I have to remove both my tubes. Over the past 16 years I have accumulated a lot of scar tissue from my incision to my tubes. I was heart broken.


This life of infertility is anything but easy. I would love for everyone to understand. I want people to be more aware of infertility and the effects it has on women and men. Emotionally, physical, mentally and spiritually. I want the world to understand infertility.So many people think that "oh wow you cant carry a child" I want people to listen. Most importantly I want the families of those suffering from infertility to become better support systems. I created groups for women where we can go and talk in private. I have family all over the world who I never met before, they encourage me and help me at my darkest times. please help me share my story so that the next person who is told she will never conceive the natural way, doesn't feel alone. Being alone in a battle is the worst feeling. Ive been there and im still here.. thanks from the Riddicks
IVF is a very expensive procedure money I just don't have. But I will pull out all that is necessary to make sure that my dreams of becoming a mom come true. I'm currently a Nanny and just finishing up a year in school. I have about 6 more months before I finished completely with school. It is my goal by July 2013 to have 7,000 for my IVF procedure. I know some people may not be able to give, however a prayer and or reposting this page, is putting me one step closer to making my Husband and I parents.
