Hi!! My son Jacob (16) is having spinal fusion from T1 to L3 for scoliosis. 60 degrees curve thoracic spine and 39 Lumbar on April 26. We have been preparing for 2 months and I thought we were set. As is life things have come up and we need help. A portion of his surgery will not be covered. There are several avenues I'm trying to go down but as of now it will be a sliding scale fee for a program. His dad ( Preston) also will not be paid for time off. He hasn't been at this job a full 12 months so he doesn't qualify. Like most people missing a pay period can turn things completely upside down and we will end up in a hole that will just keep getting deeper. His surgery is 4/26. I am starting a lupus flare and have to stop working a little earlier than planned also. Probably from stress. Any help would be greatly appreciated
