SONOMA ARTS LIVE THEATER COMPANY NEEDS YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR OUR UPCOMING SEASON
SONOMA ARTS LIVE is an important cornerstone of cultural life of Sonoma and its surrounding Valley of the Moon residents. Critics are recognizing our theater company for the increasingly high level of quality productions that we offer, and we are working diligently to maintain and improve on that quality. But even though ticket sales have increased substantially since the devastating fires two years ago, our operational costs (theater rent, storage, set building, actors, directors, stage and house management, etc) have also sharply increased, and ticket sales just don’t cover them…not even half way.
At SONOMA ARTS LIVE we have just announced our shows for the new upcoming 2019-2020 season. It’s an ambitious season which we are confident will reinforce our growing reputation among audiences and critics alike. For the 6 shows…Merman’s Apprentice, A Christmas Story Musical, Enchanted April, The Taffetas, Laughter On the 23rd and Sunset Blvd… the rights fees alone total $20,000. We are asking all theater patrons, no matter where you live, to help us in raising that $20,000. These fees must to be paid in advance of our ticket sales and our individual production fund-raising efforts. WE NEED YOUR HELP!! Feed the soul of live theater by supporting Sonoma’s only live theater company. We need your help today so we can entertain and enrich audiences tomorrow.
