In Sonoma Valley, "The Love in the Air is Stronger than the Wind".
Remember how our Valley came together during and after the 2017 fires. And now we have a new threat Let's prove now that, "The Love in the Air is Stronger than the Wind" . What if you had to throw out all your perishables and did not have the money or resources to replace them?
I’m Mara Kahn, a Sonoma Valley resident and I am collecting this money to help our low income senior neighbors in Sonoma Valley by coordinating existing community resources as well as starting this emergency fund to help seniors in need replace what they had to toss out during this and other planned disasters beyond what food banks and pantries can provide.
Donations are used to buy gift cards bought locally. These will be given to local service agencies in Sonoma for distribution.
I am looking to form a steering group to think this through. PM me if you wish to help.
