Sonoma Coast Villa & Spa employees

Currently there are raging fires in the Sonoma and Napa, CA areas.  Some of our friends who work for Sonoma Coast Villa and Spa have lost their homes, everything, and/or have been evacuated.    (You can find their website at www.scvilla.com)  I do NOT work for this company.  I DO visit often.


As of 11:30 a.m. PST on Sunday, 10/8th, I know of two families who have lost their homes completely and several who were evacuated with minutes notice in the late night/early morning hours.  These fires and evacuations are expanding as I type.  (The Villa is not in the fire danger zone at this time.)     These folks are like family to Bob and I.  Update:  The Villa is currently sheltering 27 of the employees and all of their family members.  A few of their employees have been treated for smoke-induced asthma attacks.  Many don't know if their homes still exist as they may not enter the evacuation zone.
