Sonia Menjivar's Funeral Fund

May 19, 2020 Our lives changed unexpectedly. We received a call to be with our mother in critical condition. Rushing over to the hospital was a blur; we didn't know what to expect, and only knew to be by her side. Unfortunately, what came next was not expected, planned or desired any time soon. Our mother Sonia Marina Menjivar had a massive heart attack during her emergency surgery and was not able to return back to us. We're devastated and heartbroken, anticipating this sudden loss was not on our minds.

Our mother was full of life. She went above and beyond to make sure anyone she came in contact with; was happy. She had a heart of gold, contagious laugh and brought so much joy to our lives.

My sisters and I wish to honor our mother and put her to rest as she would have wanted. The expenses for this are beyond anything we could afford at this time.  We kindly ask our family and friends that are able to come together in unity and donate anything that your heart may desire. We thank everyone that has reached out to us with your kind words, love and support.
