We Met Kiril in 2017. Today, on November 26, 2019, his mother Sveta passed away.
He is a special child with special talents. Kiril lives in Ukraine, a country where children with disabilities are left, forgotten and abused. His mother loved him and cared for him. She is now gone.
We want to help Kiril. We want to help him to grow and become a young man that God created him to be. We are family!!!

A short story about how we met Kiril. In the summer of 2017 Kiril went with us to Riga, Latvia on a mission trip to tell his story and the story of thousands of children like him in Ukraine.
With his mother sitting in the audience proudly observing every move her 14 year old son makes, Kiril slowly and somewhat awkwardly moved to the microphone. A chair was put in front of him so he could rest his body. He glanced at the piano accompanist signaling he is ready. A large crowd of over 500 in the St. Peter's church in Riga is eerily quiet, waiting and watching.

Piano starts playing. A young girl sings the first verse. It is time for Kiril to sing. He moves closer to the microphone and with confidence declares to everyone gathered that evening in this beautiful church "I sing because I’m happy, I sing because I’m free, For His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me".
Kiril was born with hydrocephalus and from a young age his body has been crippled by this awful disease. How can this boy whose life, by our standards, is miserable sing that he is happy and free?
Kiril's mother recently, through Liya Christian Ministry, came to know Jesus Christ as her personal savior. Kiril knows that unlike his earthly father and friends who abandoned him and his mother, he can rest assured that the Heavenly Father watches him.
So why are fundraising?
You see, shortly after recording this song, Kiril's mother was diagnosed with cancer. The cancer has spread to her lungs and to her liver. Prognosis was not good, but because this Fund she lived and Kiril had his mother for more than two years. Sveta passed away on November 26, 2019. Now we want to support Kiril as he faces this world without the one person who loved him and took care of him.
A support Fund has been established, through Liya Christian Ministry, to help Kiril with daily life. The Fund is overseen by Dr. Zoriana Vuiv (Director of Wings of Faith ministry, Rivne, Ukraine), Dr. Yevgeniy Dovgalyuk (President of Liya Christian Ministry, McLean, VA) and Randy Huntley ( McLean Bible Church, Ukraine Leadership Team). The Fund's intent is to provide ongoing financial support to Kiril.

Знайомтеся з Кирилом, Він особлива дитина з особливими талантами. Кирило живе в Україні - країні, де діти з обмеженими можливостями покинуті, забуті та зневажені.
Цього літа Кирило поїхав до Риги (Латвія) в місіонерську поїздку, щоб розповісти свою історію та історію тисяч таких дітей, як він, в Україні.
Тим часом, коли його мати сидить серед глядачів, гордо спостерігаючи за кожним кроком, який робить її 14-річний син, Кирило повільно і дещо акуратно підходить до мікрофону. Він рухається ближче до мікрофона і з впевненістю декларує всім, хто зібрався того вечора у цій прекрасній церкві "Я співаю, тому що я щасливий, співаю, тому що я вільний, бо Його око на горобцеві, і я знаю, Він дивиться на мене ".
Кирило народився з гідроцефалією, і з молодого віку бореться з наслідками цього захворювання. Як може цей хлопець, чиє життя, за нашими стандартами - знедолене, співати, що він щасливий і вільний?
Мати Кирила нещодавно, через Християнську Місію Лія, відкрила для себе Ісуса Христа як свого особистого спасителя. Кирило знає, що на відміну від свого земного батька та друзів, які покинули його і його матір, він може бути впевнений, що Небесний Батько спостерігає за ним.
Так чому ж ми збираємо кошти?
Бачите, незабаром після запису цієї пісні, в матері Кирила діагностували рак. Рак поширився на її легені та печінку. Прогноз не тішить. Вона не має грошей на лікування, і Кирило не має підтримки.
