<div>On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, two earthquakes striking just 39 seconds apart, magnitude 7.2 and 7.5, centered between San Felipe (Yaracuy) and Yumare-Montalbán (Carabobo), devastated north-central Venezuela, severely impacting Caracas, La Guaira, Aragua, Carabobo, and Miranda. As of June 30, the official toll exceeds 1,943 dead, over 10,500 injured, and tens of thousands missing or displaced, with hundreds of buildings collapsed and Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía badly damaged.

<div>Thousands of families have been left without homes, without safety, and without guaranteed access to food. In response to this emergency, Hera Cares and Somos ayuda have joined forces from Miami, FL, with one single, concrete goal: to set up an emergency shelter camp.

<div>Our team works directly in Venezuela, at the site of the tragedy, coordinating every stage of the process. We don't rely on intermediaries: as the Hera Cares and Somos ayuda alliance, we ourselves fully manage the fundraising, the administration of funds, and the execution of the project, from start to finish.
