The Story:
Troy Raby passed away suddenly at the age of 48 leaving his wife, Brenda and two teenage children. Brenda is a 1st grade teacher in the Janesville School District. For the people that know the Raby family know the tremendous amount of loss befallen this family including the loss of three brothers, mother and father. Brenda and the kids need your help. It is time to come together to support Troy’s wife and children in their time of need.
Why GoFundMe:
It’s hard to reach out to all of the people that know Troy and Brenda, even harder to ask for money. Brenda is far too proud to ask for the support she needs and the family friends are helping all we can but there is so much more we need We wanted as many ways possible for people to give so to that end, we are having a charity event and have set up this Gofundme page for those that just want to give money.
What we are asking:
Please give. Any amount (and I mean any) is greatly appreciated and will all go the family. You can give here on gofundme or come to the charity event (details below).
The Event:
The family friends are having a charity golfing event at Oakridge golf course on Saturday the 29th at 8:00 am for $75 to include 18 holes of golf, golf cart lunch and drawings for prizes. Later the same day at the Rock River Thresheree in Edgerton WI, there will be dinner and music for $15, with camping available at $25 for the night. ,All of the proceeds go to support the family during this tragic loss. Please reach out, please come and please give.
