Some help gettin’ goin’...

Hello friends. As many of you know, I very recently packed up as much of my life into a couple of suitcases and came back to America from Australia. This is where my boys are and they let me know that they need me and are ready to begin again. This is a blessing I’ve prayed for and waited for. There’s so much more to the story, but suffice it to say it’s been a heartbreaking journey. I just landed back in my homeland of California, and am excited for this new chapter in my life with my boys.
I had more savings, but due to an emergency trip I had to take in March for the passing of my sister, I had to use a big chunk of that savings. I’m blessed that I had the savings to use.
This is where this humbling petition comes in. I need some help getting started. I need a place to live but in order to get a place in California, I need a job. I don’t have one yet, but am frantically searching. I brought a little money with me, but due to currency exchange rates, I lost 30% of what little I brought the minute I touched US soil.
I am a hard worker and know I’ll find work. I’m praying and hoping for miracles to happen. I’ve put off asking for help because it’s hard for me to ask. I know we all have needs.
I promise I will pay it forward. I’ll eternally appreciate any consideration and help you can give.
I wouldn’t ask if I wasn’t so confronted with all of these start up expenses.
