 I am a graduate of Marmara University, Department of English Language Teaching. For five years, I had been teaching with great devotion at a private school in Istanbul. However, solely because of my trans identity, discriminatory investigations were launched against me, and under pressure from the Ministry of National Education, my contract was non-renewed and I was dismissed—usurping my constitutionally protected right to work.

 This systemic violation—driven by bureaucratic barriers, discriminatory investigations, and pressure—has been brought to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) through parliamentary inquiries and documented through our legal fight alongside the Human Rights Association (İHD). The unlawful deprivation of my right to work is not just a professional barrier; it has turned into an urgent struggle for survival amidst unemployment and economic precarity.

 In the midst of navigating this legal battle and systemic oppression, I am also preparing for a crucial step in my gender affirmation journey: Vocal Fold Surgery.

 This campaign is no longer just about affirming my body and voice; it is a vital lifeline for me to survive, maintain my legal battle after being stripped of my profession, and reclaim my life with dignity.

 Hayatta Kalma, Hukuk ve Bedenimle Bütünleşme Mücadelesi: Zoe Lila ile Dayanışmaya Çağrı

 Marmara Üniversitesi İngilizce Öğretmenliği mezunuyum. Son 5 yıldır İstanbul'da özel bir okulda büyük bir özveriyle öğretmenlik yapıyordum. Ancak trans kimliğim hedef alınarak, hakkımda başlatılan ayrımcı soruşturmalar ve Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'nın (MEB) baskısı sonucu sözleşmem yenilenmeyerek işten çıkarıldım; anayasal güvence altındaki çalışma hakkım elimden alındı.

 Bürokratik engeller, haksız soruşturmalar ve MEB baskısıyla başlayan bu hak ihlali, TBMM gündemine soru önergeleriyle taşınmış ve İnsan Hakları Derneği (İHD) bünyesinde yürüttüğümüz hukuk mücadelesiyle belgelenmiştir. Çalışma hakkımın gasp edilmesi yalnızca mesleki bir engel değil; beni işsizliğe, güvencesizliğe ve derin bir ekonomik krize sürükleyen bir hayatta kalma mücadelesine dönüştü.

 Tüm bu sistemik baskı, kaygı atakları ve hukuk mücadelesinin ortasında, bir yandan da beden uyum sürecimin en kritik aşamalarından biri olan Ses Teli Ameliyatım (Vocal Fold Surgery) için hazırlanıyorum.

 Bu kampanya benim için artık sadece bedenimle bütünleşme yolculuğu değil; mesleğimden ve emeğimden koparılmışken hayatta kalabilmem, hukuki mücadelemi sürdürebilmem ve sesimi yeniden özgürce duyurabilmem için bir can simididir.
