<div>Because we spoke up publicly about how we and our board members have been treated by Peace News Trustees (PNT), we've lost our chance to receive redundancy pay, which would have amounted to over £17,000 for the four of us. (That's why we've put £17,000 as the target for this fundraiser.) We've all worked at <em>Peace News</em> for well over a decade – two of us have worked there for 17 years.

<div>For me, personally, leaving <em>Peace News</em> in this way has been devastating. I started reading (and selling) <em>Peace News</em> when I was 16, and started contributing when I was 18. Being the co-editor and then the editor for 17 years has been a dream come true. I am so grateful for everything that we as a team got to do over the years, including nine wonderful Peace News Summer Camps, over a dozen amazing activist trainings and gatherings of various kinds, and several publications that I think have been really important, including Andrea Needham's unmissable <em>The Hammer Blow</em>.
