I own a stable of 25 horses and run trail riding holidays. Because of the current situation, we are unable to work but the horses continue to need daily care and food. As the harvest season is approaching all donations are much appreciated to help us over these hard times. Alternatively, I am also offering Solidarity Vouchers, please read on.
HARD TIMES
Covid 19 has affected all of us. I am beyond fortunate to pass this time in the beautiful Spanish Sierra Nevada mountains with my wonderful horses for company.
BUT
Our trail rides are seasonal, we have lost March through June and the Summer is unsure. Our riders are international, so even once "Lockdown" is lifted, travel restrictions will continue to have a negative effect on business.
AND
Harvest will soon be here with its massive annual feed bill.
SO
This year for the first time in over 30 years it will be very hard to meet the costs of feeding and keeping the horses.
