Marco Antonio Rivas Siria es un Joven Nicaragüense universitario de 20 años que salio de su país huyendo de la represión que el actual Gobierno de Nicaragua tiene en contra de los jóvenes.
El llego a Estados Unidos el 4 de Junio del 2018 con su visa de turista y se le concedió una estadía de 6 meses. Al escuchar que Canada estaba dando apoyo a los Nicaragüenses busco como irse a Canada. El fue muy mal asesorado y al ser un joven inexperto y emocionalmente afectado por la situación de su país, decidio el 14 de Septiembre del 2018 cruzar ilegalmente la frontera hacia Canada por Plattsburg Nueva York. El fue detenido por los oficiales de migración de Canada. El solicito refugio, le fue denegado por las autoridades canadienses, deportado a los Estados Unidos y entregado a los oficiales de migración.
Desde el 14 de Septiembre Marco se encuentra en Prision en Buffalo Federal Detention Facility en NY. Hemos buscado ayuda legal para que lleve su proceso, pero su mama una mujer que ha apoyado la lucha en contra del Gobierno, tuvo que abandonarlo todo y exiliarse en otro país, por estar en lista de captura por el simple delito de querer una patria Libre de Dictadura. Porque eso, la familia no tienen los recursos económicos para poder pagar un proceso tan costoso como el de su joven hijo.
ICE ha establecido una fianza de inmigración para diaz mil dólares y con eso para que Marco pueda luchar durante todo el proceso en libertad. Este proceso suele durar de dos o tres meses, en algunos casos más, y eso depende de la disponibilidad de los jueces de inmigración.
Actualmente su madre se encuentra exiliada en Costa Rica sin trabajo y sin medios económicos para poder ayudar a su hijo por lo que solicitamos su ayuda para poder pagar la fianza de Marco Antonio y pueda esperar su proceso en libertad y seguir luchando por una patria LIBRE del exterior.

Marco Antonio Rivas Syria is a twenty year old young Nicaraguan university student who left his country fleeing the repression that the current Government of Nicaragua has against young people.
He arrived in the United States on June 4, 2018 with his tourist visa and was granted a six-month stay. When he heard that Canada was giving support to the Nicaraguans he searched how to leave to Canada. He was very badly advised and being a young man inexperienced and emotionally affected by the situation in his country, he decided on September 14, 2018 to cross the border illegally to Canada through Plattsburg New York. He was arrested by immigration officers of Canada. He requested refuge, was denied by the Canadian authorities, deported to the United States and handed over to immigration officials.
Since September 14 Marco, Marco has been imprisoned at the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility in NY. We have sought legal help to carry out his process, but his mother, a woman who has supported the fight against the Government, had to abandon everything and go into exile in another country, for being on the arrest list for the simple crime of wanting a homeland Free of Dictatorship. Because of this, the family does not have the economic resources to pay for a process as expensive as that of their young son.
ICE has established an immigration bond of ten thousand dollars and with that Marco can fight during the whole process in freedom, as it usually lasts two or three months, in some cases more, and it depends on the availability of the migration judges.
Currently her mother is exiled in Costa Rica without work and without financial means to help her son so we ask for your help to be able to pay Marco Antonio's bail and be able to wait for his trial in freedom and continue fighting for a FREE motherland from the outside.
