¡Hola! Somos un grupo de sanitarias que acompañamos como voluntarias independientes a los migrantes en Belgrado. La mayoría vienen de Afganistán y Pakistán y todos ellos son hombres y niños que viajan sin familia tratando de cruzar las últimas fronteras para llegar a Europa en busca de una vida sin guerra.
Desde el verano de 2015, debido al cierre de la ruta de los Balcanes, centenares de personas refugiadas se han quedado estancadas en Serbia. La zona donde se concentran la mayoría de migrantes que llegan a Belgrado son unas antiguas barracas militares cercanas a la antigua estación de tren. Aquí es donde estamos nosotras.
El contexto que les rodea es muy hostil. La escasa respuesta social desde Europa, la falta de recursos y la insalubridad hace que se encuentren en una situación de vulnerabilidad permanente. Durante estos meses sobre el terreno, y a raíz de sus viajes a las fronteras y la ola de frío que golpeó Europa, nos hemos encontrado con heridas en los pies, traumatismos, problemas respiratorios, deshidrataciones, infecciones la piel y presencia de parásitos, entre otros.
No obstante, el objetivo de este crowd founding es recaudar dinero para poder abastecer a las personas vulnerables con material sanitario de primera necesidad, zapatos, calcetines, ropa interior, sacos de dormir; ya que todo este material debe ser reemplazado a menudo. En caso de superar el objetivo el dinero se destinará íntegramente a otros proyectos sanitarios sobre terreno.
Este material se necesita de forma habitual y cuanto antes llegue nuestro apoyo, antes podremos contribuir a disminuir los problemas de salud que sufren los migrantes.

Hello! We are a group of health workers who accompany as independent volunteers, the migrants in Belgrade. Most of them come from Afghanistan and Pakistan and they are all men and children traveling without a family, trying to cross the last border to reach Europe looking for life without war.
Since the summer of 2015, due to the closure of the Balkan route, hundreds of refugees have been stuck in Serbia. The area where the majority of migrants who come to Belgrade are concentrated are old military barracks near the old train station. Here is where we are, now.
The context around them is very hostile. The scarce social response from Europe, the lack of resources and the insalubrity makes them in a situation of permanent vulnerability. During these months on the ground, and following his travels to the borders and the cold wave that struck Europe, we have found feet injuries, trauma, respiratory problems, dehydration, skin infections and presence of parasites, among others.
However, the purpose of this crowd founding is to raise money to supply vulnerable people with basic sanitary equipment, shoes, socks, underwear, sleeping bags; since all this material must be replaced often. In case of exceeding the objective, the money will go entirely to other health projects on the ground.
This material is needed on a regular basis and the sooner our support comes, the sooner we can help to reduce the health problems suffered by migrants.
