Soleng Tom's playground shade structures gifted by the PTSA 15 years ago were damaged during the summer monsoons. The company who installed them is no longer in business, and their replacement is not covered TUSD’s insurance deductible. Our kids, teachers, and staff need shade! The current PTSA is reaching out to Soleng Tom Families to help offset the cost to replace the fabric that was torn. The best estimate we received was just under $8000. Unfortunately, the PTSA Budget cannot support this type of expenditure. The money we raise during our one-and-only fundraiser, The Spell-a-Thon, pays for many other items. Rest assured, the Spell-a-Thon will still take place in January! All donations are tax deductible! All businesses who contribute at least $100 will be recognized in our monthly newsletters for the duration of the year.
