Some American Troops are stationed in places where the nearest convenience store is at least 40 minutes away, and requires a combat convoy to just make the trip. Some of the American Troops are on bases with no BX available.
It's easy for us here in the States to fulfill our wants and needs even when we think, "I could sure use a cup of coffee", or "I just ran out of deodorant". That is a great freedom that we have here, but those fighting to protect our freedom do not enjoy this convenience, as you can imagine.
We understand that being in the armed forces requires sacrifice, but in sending some hospitality from back home to those deployed, we can give much more than just a "thank you".
American troops stationed in remote areas send e-mails and letters each day requesting every day items. We need your help on postage and items for the troops to keep up with the demand, any help is appreciated.
Our list is growing. We have some soldiers that have no family or loved ones in their life. We work hard at letting them know how much we appreciate their service to this country.
