I want to build a solarpunk future

For the majority of my life I have wanted to invent things, specifically I want to work on combining sustainable living and modern technology.

However for the last 5+ years I have had to work as an unpaid caretaker for my aging grandfather he who is (actually) 85. The strain forced me to drop out of college and eventually all of my part time jobs. After my family finally decided to put him in an elderly care facility they kicked me out without a penny to my name and a car almost out of gas. All I have is my new found freedom, a few tools, and a dream.

I had a major in science education (my safe choice) with a minor in material's engineering, combined with my love of engines I came up with the Bison W1 engine. A variation of the stirling engine that will utilize solar troughs to produce power, either electrical power or high torque rotation for other purposes such as sawmills, hydraulics, and more.

Loosely based on this NASA project and utilizing new manufacturing techniques and new ideas.

I want to get my life together and do something I'm passionate about. I will work as many jobs as I need to do this, but I would be thankful for any kind of help.
