Want to join us in making a difference? We are raising money to aid persons in the Bahamas who are still without Electricity and Water.
The Solar Water Relief organization is a group of persons working together to fund the charitable donation of equipment to generate electricity using solar panels and deliver drinking water with an integrated reverse osmosis system. The Solar Water Relief - Bahamas project is a focused effort of Solar Water Relief to deliver electricity and freshwater to areas of the Bahamas affected by Hurricane Dorian.
NOTE: Our partner, Clean Energy Events (named above), is sponsoring Solar Water Relief in order to provide SWR with 501 (c)(3) standing. All donations will go toward the Solar Water Relief goal of sending solar water generators to the Bahamas.
The primary objectives of the Solar Water Relief - Bahamas project are to:
● Procure solar power collection systems, with integrated seawater reverse osmosis systems (Solar Water Generators), to deliver electricity and fresh water to persons or organizations in the Bahamas affected by Hurricane Dorian.
● Deliver a minimum of two solar water generators to Abaco Island, along with support personnel to train users and the equipment needed to maintain the generators.
● Deliver the equipment needed to transfer water to and from the solar water generators, and to store the potable water produced by the units.
● Create job opportunities for local residents in the Bahamas for the operation and maintenance of the equipment.
