Solar Street Light for Safety

I have tried to have a street light installed in this dark area of Rothwell Street to no avail. The electrical company Jemena and the Moonee Valley City Council have said a light is NOT required. 
So here I am on Go Fund Me! 
I will install the light myself and post pictures when completed.
I am doing this in the interest of public safety and the increasing crime rate in the area of Moonee Valley and our streets.
