Solace for the Glitzners

As many of you know Cindy, Cynthia Glitzner, has been fighting cancer for over a year now and it breaks our hearts that it is a battle she cannot win. She has fought ever since she was first diagnosed; not just with chemo and radiation but also with an open head wound that complicated the already cruel disease.

I'm sorry to say that Cindy has developed new tumors in her brain that are untreatable. She is currently being kept as comfortable as possible by her family in hospice care.

For those of you that personally know Cindy, you are aware of what a tragic loss this is. Cindy is one of the most charming people you could ever meet. If she did not captivate you with her goofy (often off the wall) sense of humor, contagious laugh, or uncanny clumsiness, she would with her kindness. Cindy and her family have a fierce love for each other, which makes this situation even harder to bear.  

Caring for Cindy and watching her suffer with no hope for a cure has caused her family enough distress. If it's not hard enough to watch your loved one suffer then add financial concern and it's almost unbearable. As we spend our last days with our beloved "Cindy Lou", it is unfortunate that we have to worry about paying for a funeral and extensive medical bills that have added up over the past year.

We have started this Go Fund Me account to ease the burden of her family. All funds will go directly to Cindy's funeral costs and medical bills.
