Soke Michael DePasquale was in a training accident at the dojo during the COVID lockdown in the Spring of 2020. As a result of the injury, he needed back surgery that led to a few weeks at a rehabilitation facility. He has since been back home while still continuing his outpatient rehab.
The black belts at the home dojo in Rivervale NJ have taken over the day to day operations ensuring the school remains open. That said, medical bills continue to come in and add up.
As a result, we have decided to start this Go Fund Me page in order to keep Soke focused on his recovery.
Soke has given so much to so many and has never asked for help. He is a true warrior in every sense. Many reading this post have most likely experienced his gift for teaching and his nature of giving back.
