Hi! I'm Shawn. I made the very first SOGH ART TRUCK! The first Art Truck like it ever!!! It's been a ton of work, an amazing adventure, a lot of sweat, and I keep on Art Truckin! Most of all it's been AWESOME!! Taking art to so many folks has never been easier and super well recieved! Everything about my work and the truck has gotten a lot of attention. it's gotten imaginations flowing. It's expanded dreams. It's showcased various artist aside from myself and so much more! And it all happened because a ton of folks believed in me and came together in a fundraising campaign like this one and made that happen! to them, THANK YOU!
Well, NOW i want to expand my arting adventures and start pulling along a vintage trailer full of even MORE ART! (and a place to crash when needed - hotels are so expensive)
Imagine on the back of the Art Truck going down the street an ART TRAILER in tow with even more ART. Where you can come in and have a seat. Perhaps it turns into a tiny class room - art and wine night! Or we have a little band outside and arting by campfire?! or parking lot light:) Guest artist can have Art Trailer openings! AND SO MUCH MORE!
But first, we need to acquire said trailer to transform into something AWESOME! This is where you come in!
The vintage trailer pictured is available for $2000. so thats the initial goal! BUT that just gets the trailer (or one like it) Anything above the goal goes to redoing the interior and make it safe for the road. I do not know the costs of all that. This trailer is gutted and that's what i'm looking for. a blank slate that needs work. here is the listing on Craigslist you can see the rest. https://baltimore.craigslist.org/rvs/6177302739.html
This trailer also states it has a clean title. i do not want any trailer without a clean title.
One thing i learned when doing the truck. it takes a ton of time to do more than you think. and it will rely on a lot of help from friends to make it happen. Same will be with this new part of the adventure!
As with when i talked about the Art Truck the first time, a FB friend suggested i do a gofundme. SO here i am!
And yes, all who help out will get hooked up with a trailer painting! maybe a trailer trash painting?!?!!!! Hahaha!
