Soggy Vampires Halloween Storybook 7"

Hi, I'm Dylan Blackthorn, writer & composer of Goblinfolk music. I'm collaborating with comics artist Adam Kobetich to create the Soggy Vampires Musical Storybook 7"!

Do you remember storybook 7" records? "When you hear the <BEEP>, turn the page" As children, we are inspired by the immersive experience of such storytelling - the sense of wonder, the possibilities of our imagination, and the ritual of placing the record on a record player to activate a new adventure! I aim to re-create that experience with my project, Soggy Vampires: Halloween Storybook 7". I hope you will help me manifest this musical & graphic storytelling experience.

Soggy Vampires will be a limited edition of 300 RL storybooks in square format, accompanying a vinyl 7" 45RPM record. The records will come with a download code, and will be signed & numbered by the musical artist, Dylan Blackthorn, and graphic artist, Adam Kobetich.

It turns out that pressing vinyl is kinda expensive. Custom print jobs likewise. That's where you come in - my friends, family, and musical community. I believe that I know 300 people who share my enthusiasm for Halloween, strange music, and the format of the storybook record.

I am gonna make this happen.

What I need is to find out is - who needs to fill a Halloween-storybook-record-shaped-hole in their lives? I'm betting there are far, far more than 300 people with this soul-hole, but I'm really hoping you can help me find them, by supporting the project and sharing the fundraising link with all your strange friends (besides me).

The IMPORTANCE of HALLOWEEN-STORYBOOK-RECORDS

When I was a child, after trick-or-treating, I would go outside and look up at the night sky, asking myself the question, "Is this really all there is to Halloween?". Truly, I knew in my little goblin-child-soul, that there was MORE...

As I grew into an adult, I found more and more - great heights of cheery gloom and wretched ecstasy addled with Unseelie energy - with projects like Thee Hobo Gobbelins, 999 EYES FREAKSHOW, THAT Damned Band, and Dylan Blackthorn & the small flames. Now, I want to pass that sense of wonder on to all my friends, and their children. YES! This project is suitable for ALL AGES!
