Anna "Fitzy" Fitzpatrick

Anna, otherwise known as Fitzy to her softball teammates, passed away on the evening of December 30, 2017.  Fitzy was a talented fast pitch softball player.  She joined the San Dieguito league 4 years ago in the 10u division and has played almost every season since.  Most recently, she was on the 12u Gold All Star Team and the Fall Select Team.  She had a fierce bat and her height gave her a tremendous advantage when catching those "over the head" line drives.  Her witty sense of humor, dedication and passion  is what made Fitzy truly special.  When asked to describe Fitzy in one word, her teammates responded with:  amazing, affectionate, enlightening, bubbly, kind, cheerful and passionate.  She was a bright light which will forever shine over the fields of Cardiff Sports Park.  All donations will go to her parents to be used for medical bills and/or funeral costs.  We love and miss you Fitzy.
