As the people of Ukraine are fearlessly fighting for the freedom of their land, they will be facing the serious impact of cold winter. As the invader-occupant destroys more and more Ukrainian cities, villages, infrastructure and utilities, there is a heightened risk of people (including small children and the elderly) experiencing the impact of cold temperatures, during the upcoming cold winter.
This initiative is specifically to collect funds for warm wool socks (ski fleece), gloves and other pieces of cloth, made of similar warming materials.
All donations will be used to purchase the below-listed items on Amazon, to be later shipped directly to Ukraine, using one of the US carriers (FedEx, USPS or similar). Items to be purchased are:
- Wool (skiing) socks
- Hands and feet warming packs
- Emergency Survival Candles (to give heat/light during power outages)
- Warm shoes and calf warmers
- Warm (wool, fleas) gloves, scarfs
- Other personal belongings to keep people warm
Together, we can support the people of Ukraine, impacted by devastating violence, atrocities and destruction of the agressor.
