Social Media for the Tipping Point

The Alliance for Environmental Leadership (AEL) is celebrating three years of advocacy and collaboration with you this month. What an incredibly productive and paradigm-shifting three years it has been. We’ve grown our alliance to 16 organizations. Together, we are a stronger voice and we’ve elevated citizen awareness of and participation in local governance to unprecedented levels.

Our aim is to achieve that “tipping point,” where the interests of our smaller groups of committed individuals can together, bring about societal change.

We think the key to achieving the “tipping point” is engaging Generation Z, Millennials, and younger Boomers. We need engagement across the generations to affect election outcomes, to fill seats on Boards and Commissions, and to raise issues at public meetings.

AEL hired as our Social Media Director to help us engage more young people in community advocacy. Using social media platforms and messaging specifically targeting the younger generations- Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter-we’ll be amplifying and improving our Google and Facebook algorithms to grow our outreach to exponentially more people.

Help us to be a more effective online presence by chipping-in to support AEL’s social media outreach. The more we raise the more we can do.   Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.  For today’s and for future generations, we thank you!

Together, we’re a stronger voice.
