Sobriety Support for Tharen

My good friend Cara Whitefoot has a son struggling with Substance Use Disorder.  Some of you remember Cara's son Tharen as a sensitive, funny, caring little boy. Recently, he has been fighting an unbelievable battle. He is currently in a treatment center and has a spot waiting for him in a clean and sober house after graduation. Tharen and Cara need our help so that Tharen can take advantage of this opportunity. Tharen needs first months rent, deposit, living expenses and transportation costs to help secure his spot. If you know Cara or Tharen you know that this a very hard thing for them to ask for, but unfortunately she just can't cover all the necessary expenses this time. Substance Use Disorder is a huge and ever growing problem in our communities today, upwards of 200 people a day are dying from opiate addiction. If you know anyone with an addiction problem, or you have first hand experience with addiction, you know these steps are unbelievably difficult but necessary to move forward.  If you could find it in your heart to not only send Tharen our prayers and good thoughts, but also to donate any amount, however small, to this GoFundMe for rent and living expenses.
