SoBo Dance Scholarship Fund

SoBo Studio is almost 5!!!! To celebrate our birthday, we want to celebrate the community that has supported us along our journey. We are going to award 5 dance class scholarships. 1 to an elder community member, 1 to the parent or guardian of a young child (includes childcare), 1 to an aspiring professional, 1 to a teen, and 1 to a child aged 4 to 7. Help us raise $1300 to achieve this goal. Every dollar counts!

SoBo is a community dance center committed to keeping dance accessible, non-competitive, and a vital part of the health and growth of our community.

SoBo hosts daytime and evening classes for children and adults with flexible payment options. Participants of all levels, abilities, and ages are welcome! SoBo offers scholarship and work study opportunities and maintains a family friendly environment. Our playroom is always open for children to explore while parent’s dance, with free supervision provided during select classes.

SoBo presents shows seasonally, featuring the works of local artists. SoBo is home to two performance companies who present work on site and throughout the region. Al Amal Belly Dance Company celebrates community and belly dance heritage through family friendly performances. Super Bee presents dance entertainment with positive social messages for kids in kid friendly spaces.
