I've known Zach for years. He is a good kid from west county. Never did drugs besides pot and beer. Once day he tried heroin and got hooked.
He is clean now but homeless and waiting for the money for his bed reserved for 2 weeks at a sober living home.
$500 will pay month but if I only got 250 (2 weeks) I'll donate the last 250.
I wouldn't help Zach unless I knew he was clean, wasn't a drug addict before and lost his father at an early age. He has had no family for years.
Anyways the bed is held for 2 weeks and I've been in recovery I know these places work when people want to be sober (like Zach).
I've let him stay him when I could. He has always been clean when I've sent him. But he struggles. I'm afraid he will be relapse. His whole mind hangs on access to this bed and sober living. It's the main thing keeping him sober
