<div>At St. Francis Wildlife, our mission is to give every injured animal a second chance at life in the wild. But to do that safely, we need facilities that match the incredible power of the raptors we treat.

<div><strong>The Lesson Behind the Build:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recently, we cared for a magnificent Bald Eagle recovering from a severe wing injury. After weeks of intensive care, she was ready to regain her strength. However, during a flight exercise, she suffered a secondary injury due to the limitations of our aging enclosures.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It was a heartbreaking moment that taught us a vital lesson: Even well-meaning, older facilities aren't always equipped for the speed and force of a recovering eagle. Thanks to our dedicated team, she made a full recovery and was successfully released—but we vowed then and there to never let a facility’s "age" stand in the way of an animal’s safety again.

</div>
<div><strong>Our Vision for the Future:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are raising funds for a state-of-the-art Bald Eagle flight enclosure, designed to the highest professional standards for raptor rehabilitation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>120' long with L-bend: Large enough for the high-speed maneuvers of Bald Eagles.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Versatile Design: When not housing eagles, it will serve as a rehabilitation area for Ospreys, Pelicans, and Turkey Vultures.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Professional Planning: A huge thank you to John Scott, AIA (The Pine House Studio), for providing the architectural drawings and renderings to bring this vision to life.
</div>
<div><br />

<div><strong>How You Can Help:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our target timing to break ground is Fall 2026--but we need your support. Your donation directly funds the materials and skilled construction needed to ensure the next eagle that comes through our doors has the safest possible path back to the sky.
